Celebrate the coffee ritual, the joy of a perfect espresso being a quality part of life. Focus on the pure simplicity, having a piece of solid traditional engineering to allow a sensory experience of coffee preparation.
THE LEVER ESPRESSO MACHINE FOR HOME USE
The CT1 uses the proven lever technique. It was first developed in the 1950s in Italy but it is rarely used in todays machines. With this technique a collum of hot water is manually pressed through the coffee by means of a piston. It is a very clear procedure and it provides you the perfect espresso.
Due to the open boiler design and removable piston, the technique is simple and makes it a low-maintenance machine. It uses electricity to heat the water and has an adjustable thermostat to set the water temperature. It works within a 4c differential.
